MPE 808
boom
An 808 you play with your hands.
Full craft. One email for the license file. Optional updates if you want them.
What it does
An 808 you play with your hands.
Boom is Quiver's free 808 bass. One sine oscillator into a fixed 808 bus chain: EQ, FET-style soft-clip saturation, glue compressor, real sidechain audio input, soft-brickwall limiter. An internal kick body layer ducks the main 808 so kick and bass glue out of the box. Velocity gates the 808 tail: tap softly for a kick-only hit, lean into the key for the full sub tail. Fourteen factory presets, dialed against reference tracks across trap, drill, garage, Latin trap and hyperpop.
Designed MPE-first. Every parameter starts as a FROM/TO pair so the gestural surface is built into the engine, not bolted on afterwards. Pressure shapes drive, decay and FM grit. Slide opens the tone filter. Strike sets pitch chirp, punch, noise. Lift fires a slam or thump articulation. Every voice lights up per-note so you see exactly what your hands are doing.

Requirements
What it runs on, today.
Quiver plugins are designed MPE-first and tested in real workflows before they ship. The supported set is deliberately narrow right now so every shipped plugin works the way the page describes. Wider coverage comes as each host gets a full pass.
OS support
macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), VST3 and AU. Windows 10 or later, VST3, 64-bit. Intel Macs are not yet supported.
Tested in
Ableton Live 12, Bitwig Studio, Reaper, and Logic Pro. Other MPE-aware VST3 / AU hosts should work.
Controllers
Designed for Osmose, Push 3, Seaboard, LinnStrument, Continuum. Plays as a complete static patch on any MIDI keyboard; the per-finger gestural surface unlocks the day an MPE controller arrives.
